Michael Danko, MD
Dr. Michael Danko is an interventional pain medicine physician who is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2008. Then, he completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati in 2013. Following training, Dr. Danko has worked in private practice in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas for Advanced Pain Treatment Center and Comprehensive Pain Specialists. He has also served as a sub-investigator for clinical research trials for lumbosacral radiculopathy, opioid-induced constipation, opioid dependence, and spinal cord stimulation. In 2016, Dr. Danko left CPS to open Premier Pain Treatment Institute.
With multiple publications and presentations at national conferences, Dr. Danko brings cutting edge, evidence-based care for his patients. He is also known for his calming and compassionate demeanor while providing safe, patient-centered therapies. Dr. Danko’s comprehensive treatment plans include focused medication management and clinically appropriate interventional pain procedures. Dr. Danko is committed to ensuring that patients and referring providers in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas have a high-quality solution for pain management services.
The leading member of our care team, Dr. Danko is an active member of the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, North American Neuromodulation Society, and Internal Neuromodulation Society. He also holds hospital staff privileges at Anderson Mercy, Clermont Mercy, and Bethesda North Hospitals.
Joseph Wray, MD
Dr. Joseph Wray specializes in interventional spine and minimally invasive surgical techniques aimed to treat chronic pain disorders. He is board certified in interventional pain medicine and anesthesiology.
Dr. Wray received his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, attended residency at San Antonio Military Medical Center, and earned his fellowship degree in Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine at the University of Florida Medical Center. His twelve-year Air Force Career was devoted to caring for active-duty veterans and their family members.
Dr. Wray joined our care team at the start of 2024 and continues to bring high-quality, minimally invasive options for the treatment of chronic pain to his community.
Jennifer Craft, BSN, RN
Director of Nursing
Jennifer Craft, BSN, RN, serves as the Director of Nursing at Premier Surgical Institute, bringing with her a wealth of experience across various nursing specialties. With a career spanning over a decade, Jennifer has cultivated expertise in surgical, critical care, nursing leadership, and emergency medicine. Her journey in the medical profession began in 2007 as a medical assistant and patient care assistant while pursuing her nursing education.
Jennifer graduated with an Associates of Applied Science from Cincinnati State in 2014 and later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2018. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to excellence in patient care, focusing on risk management, quality assurance, infection prevention, and nursing leadership.
As an active member of the healthcare community, Jennifer is affiliated with the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN), where she continues to expand her knowledge and stay updated on the latest advancements in nursing practice.
Jennifer’s approach to patient care is characterized by a delicate balance of compassion and resilience. As a leading member of our care team, she understands the importance of being both tough and empathetic, tailoring her care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jennifer finds joy in spending time with her beloved puppy, Ruthie, and indulges in hobbies such as boating, beach outings, and cheering on THE Ohio State during football season.
